Scouting and Guiding A personality development initiative which is part of a world-wide movement, the scouting & guiding programme is well established in the Vidyalaya.
Learning by doing Well laid out labs in various disciplines help inculcate the spirit of inquiry and research, making education a purposeful endeavour. Sports and Games Vigorous and systematic training: well maintained play grounds and equipments; ample opportunities to open-up, the Vidyalaya today is a name to reckon with in the field of sports and games. Club activities Nurturing the potential to blossom and flourish, various clubs like the Adventure club, The Nature club, The Science club, The Literacy club, The Dramatic club, The Mathematics club etc. involve students in various programmes that help groom and streamline the personality of the child.  Educational trips & Excursions Educational trips and excursions form an integral part of the growth scenario providing values, knowledge, insight and of course, sheer pleasure. Co-curricular Activities Cultural and literary competitions provide ample scope for intellectual and personality development. Various avenues are open to the students to discover themselves and sharpen their talents. Discipline and Uniforms The Vidyalaya is proud of its rich tradition in upholding the highest levels of discipline and decorum that instills in the pupils confidence and a sense of achievement.  | DEMONSTRATION OF FIRE-FIGHTING TECHNIQUES AT THE TSPL CAMP FOR SCOUTS & GUIDES The scouts and guides who attended the TSPL camp from 26-11-07 to 28-11-07 had a rare opportunity to witness some of the fire fighting techniques and procedures when the Fire Force held a demonstration at the Vidyalaya. |
 | A COLOURFUL DISPLAY ON ANNUAL SPORTS DAY OF THE VIDYALAYA The Annual Sports day was celebrated on 16th January 2008. One of the highlights of the function was a colourful and spectacular display by the primary kids. |
 | INTRODUCTION TO FIRST AID PRACTICES AT THE TSPL CAMP FOR SCOUTS & GUIDES The Army personnel from the Military Hospital Pangode gave a demonstration on 27/11/07 on some of the First Aid procedures that can be adopted during emergencies. |
